Happy Labor Day from SchoolInfo

Written by Scarlet Jaworski | Sep 5, 2022 3:15:00 PM

To many people, Labor Day is a day off that marks the end of the summer. But let’s not forget the real purpose of the holiday. The nationwide holiday celebrates the social and economic achievements of American workers. Let's take the time today to celebrate the hard work that each of you put into your profession every day, especially as educators. Working in education is no easy task. Just take a look at the infographic below by Busy Teacher. The infographic was created to demonstrate to the people who don't work in education just how hard teachers work.

Today, SchoolInfo would like to thank everyone who has dedicated their lives to educating children. We thank the teachers who are devoted to the success of each of their students, administrators who dedicate themselves to leading and learning, IT teams that keep everyone online, bus drivers, office staff, paraprofessionals, cafeteria staff, counselors, and every single person who keeps schools running.

What makes educators so inspiring in my eyes is their commitment to their profession even outside of the classroom. I've noticed that through social media, educators are constantly looking for new ways to connect and learn from their peers. Do you know about the #Edchat on Twitter? The hashtag is meant for all educators to post their thought-provoking conversations throughout the day. The hashtag can be used by anyone with an education-related topic they want to discuss. The hashtag was created for educators to collaborate, share ideas, and solve problems together.

In celebration of today, please enjoy these amazing teachers on TikTok and their incredible videos!
